How to prevent the dye of my new jeans coming off?

The dye of my jeans comes off with water I’ve just recently discovered, and it has also come off on my handbag a little bit. . . (What if I get them wet in the rain! Aghh!) why is it coming off so easily and HOW can I prevent if from coming off more?! I’ve heard about rinsing the jeans in salt and/or vinegar, does this work?

What do you think about people cutting their old jeans into shorts?

I was just curious as to what all of you think about cutting your old jeans into shorts. . .

Just got home from the mall today to do a little summer clothes shopping, and I just wondered if it’s all right to cut jeans into shorts, since some girls in my school do so.

Smart casual for a work meeting?

I have to meet with a few clients and my boss told me to wear smart casual. Usually i would wear jeans and a formal top with black shoes. This time i’m not to sure if i should be wearing jeans at all. What should i wear?

My skinny jeans don’t fit me properly?

I have a pair of skinny jeans. They fit me perfectly at the waist and thighs, but are too loose at the calves and ankles. I’m really short too, so they are way too long for me! When tucked into a pair of boots, the problem is barely noticeable, but what if I want to wear heels or flats? Even when I roll the jeans under to make them shorter, they still don’t fit me, and end up looking like skinny jeans at the top, and straight leg jeans at the bottom.

I know they can be tailored to fit me perfectly, but how is it done? I’ve heard about the inseams? Is that part of it? Is it easy to make my skinny jeans “skinnier” at the bottom? Is the alteration noticeable on the outside (like stitches, etc. ) and how much would it roughly cost to get my jeans tailored, including the hemming?

Im English and the fashion in Australia is a little different from home. So I was wondering if anyone knew where there was a good place to find flared jeans (for size 14 girls) and funky tops at a reasonable price in Melbourne. Or just wheres good areas to go shopping like markets and places like that for clothes
