What is the best way to turn over-highlighted hair back to natural color at home?

I’m tired of ruining my hair by over-highlighting and would like to go back to natural color which is medium brown. The rest of my hair is probably classified as light ash blonde. My natural color has grown out 3 or 4 inches since last highlights. Can I use an all over color or am I going to end up with different shades just darker? My hair is long. I was looking at something like Loreal’s new Natural Match which are suppose to give you a more natural color. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have brown hair and I am considering getting dark blonde, golden highlights but I have heard a lot about highlights fading excessively during the summer. If I was to get highlights, would I expect the blonde to fade to darker or lighter color?
Im just worried because I have a friend who got blonde highlights that faded almost to a white color and I think that would look really bad with my brown hair but I have also heard of blonde highlights fading to a coppery color.
What should I typically expect?
My hair was previously colored a light reddish- brown color. So would that mean that the blonde highlights would fade to that color?
What is the best color of stocking for medium to dark brown complexion?

I want a sheer brown color stocking which hasn’t got the shine but very close to the color of the skin which is medium to dark brown but not black. A sort of warm dark brown.

I want to color my hair but i need a hair dye that damages my hair very little or nothing at all cuz my hair tends to fall a lot and for that matter i have some frizzy hairs. My hair is black and thick and i want to color it chocolate brown. Any suggestions on a really good hair dye and where I can get it?

Ok, so I don’t want to bleach my hair or do anything like that. I was just wondering how I could color my hair white or silver temporarily or semi-permanently using other products? Like, alternatives to hair color spray? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
