Just bought a clip-ins from the internet and oh yes, of course, they are not the same color. They look almost black, while my hair mediam / dark brown. I do not want to spend money in the salon, so I can just buy a brown hair dye on the Boots and paint them myself? ive always wanted platnum blonde hair. should i do it myself or go to my hairdressers? and will i have to bleech it, if so what would the effects be on my hair?
when i get routes back and i dye them, would they go the same blonde or a different blonde colour?

I go to a salon and get a permanent dye put on my hair but im finding the grey is coming through within three – four weeks. Should i change my hairdressers or is it just the speed my hair comes in.

I have naturally dark brown hair, and on impulse i decided to dye it darker. However my hair is now black 
. I’ve done quite a bit of research and found that head and shoulders shampoo makes it fade quicker. . . but how long will it take until it’s back to my natural colour?

Contrary to Kelly C and her correspondents, yes hair dye stains the shower stall. I have tried for two months to get blue streaks out. I have tried Mr. Clean magic eraser. The little sponge is blue now but so are the walls of the shower. I have tried bathroom cleaners. Baking soda. Shampoo. Tooth paste. Most of these things are hard to apply because they fall off due to gravity. But even putting them on the horizontal parts of the tub has not worked.
