my ends are extremely dry and brittle from over colouring and they break off sometimes but my regrowth and scalp are really oily. shampooing too much makes the ends even drier and more brittle but not shampooing enough leaves me with an oily itchy scalp. what is the best shampoo and conditioner to use?

During the school year I straightened up to twice a day , or curled my hair with a curling iron. I was wondering , considering i have very damaged hair after just a year of this routine, what a iron – free summer would do for my hair? im also looking to grow my hair over the summer, no cuts , just trims, how long will my hair grow in two and a half months?

So I know this sounds weird but it makes sense, just hear me out.
My hair is naturally very curly. When I straighten it with a hot straightening iron, it goes dead straight, like demi moore’s for example.
How can I straighten it, and still get it to seem soft, without it being that straight. I’m looking for it to turn out something more like Kate Middleton’s hair. Just soft, and silky, but not dead straight.

I dyed my hair blonde a few months ago, and I dyed it recently again brown. I went to a theme park and the sun bleached the brown out and the red stayed. It is still blonde, but a TINY bit of red. I want to use a product called Clairol Shimmer Lights Purple Shampoo. I called one of my local salons and they said that they had it and it worked good. She said it got rid of the red/yellow/orange tones and highlights. I was just wondering if you have used it before, how often you used it, and how much.
