I’m growing my hair out to shoulder length, I have straight thick brown hair. Trying to sort of go for the John Lennon look. At the moment when I shampoo it, it just gets all frizzy, but if I don’t by the third day its just a pile of grease haha. yummy i know.
Should I get it thinned out, or just let it be. Whats the tricks of the trade when doing this? Guys/girls welcome to answer especially if you’re a guy with long hair!

I’m a 14 year old boy and some d*ckheads tease me because my hair is really shiny and they think it’s oily but it’s not, i shampoo and condition my hair every night. actually my hair feels really soft and silky, almost like a girl’s hair

I used to be a dark brunette and went to blonde using 3 seperate bleaches and one colouring of 30 vol. I am happy with the results however I have not toned it yet. My hair is very yellow with streaks of orange through the ends. Can someone tell me which type of toner I have to buy to tone this down and make it more white/cream. Also do I need to mix this with peroxide or is it just a shampoo. Thanks for your help.

I dyed my hair blonde a few months ago, and I dyed it recently again brown. I went to a theme park and the sun bleached the brown out and the red stayed. It is still blonde, but a TINY bit of red. I want to use a product called Clairol Shimmer Lights Purple Shampoo. I called one of my local salons and they said that they had it and it worked good. She said it got rid of the red/yellow/orange tones and highlights. I was just wondering if you have used it before, how often you used it, and how much.

I have been using sunsilk fresh for longer shampoo and conditioning mist because no matter how hard I scrub at it when washing; the roots are oily the next day. If you don’t know then can u give me a list of all of the shampoo brands you know so I can see if they have one to suit my conditions – my hair is curly and med/long.
The other day I go my hair stripped and the color she put over made it orange so yesterday I put an ash medium blonde over the top but it’s still a bit orange. The hairdresser said to use blonde shampoo to make it go away but that just made it worse. What can I use ?
