I’m going to be in a wedding in August, and the bride has said that she wants me to wear eye makeup. The problem: I have a recurrent bacterial infection in my eyes and don’t want to look like I have pinkeye for three days after the wedding. Any advise on making my eyes stand out with little or preferably no makeup? I have amber colored, almond shaped eyes, and natural darkness around them (I’ve been told it’s because I’m of Finnish descent), and my lashes are practically black, maybe average-length. I have tried CG Professional All-in-One Mascara (my eyes reacted horribly, and I had to scrape it off with my finger nails even though it wasn’t waterproof), Estee Lauder More than Mascara (I had slightly better luck, but was still irritated and had tarantula-eyes) and something called Clearly Mascara, which was clear, made my lashes look no different, and stung like mad. I have no skill with eyeliner, but have tried CG with bad luck. For shadow, I’ve had ok luck with Origins, but not great
