Its a plain black cotton bubble dress.
Strapless, though at the moment it has a thin halter strap that i attached last time i wore it.
It was not an expensive dress but I want to fancy it up, what can I do or how can I alter or add to it too make it stand out?!

add shiny sequins on the bust area. . . . it jazzes the dress up heaps
long silver necklaces with the pearls on them. and how bout some sexy kitten heels!
A big pink ribbon tied to the front with a brooch (if possible).
Tie a red sash around it or put a cute silk flower like a daisy or sunflower on it.
get like a big ribbon as wrap it around ur waist!

i would go to wal-mart and find a cute dressy shirt and where it
wear for example a red belt over it with a red necklace and red earrings it will make it look different without spending loads of money this is in style now to use bright ridiculous colors

Add a big, patent leather belt to cinch the waist. I think red would go, but if you’re looking for classy try a white one. Whatever color you choose, add some shoes that match the color and girl, you’ll stand out and look f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s!
wear probaly jewelry like a braclet and earring and a necklace(not to flashy tho) to go with the dress. have ur hair nice and probalbly wear white tights and some black heels. if u pay more attention to other things like ur hair and jewlery then ppl will too and not notice the dress was “cheap”.
u cud wear really cute pumps or slingbacks with it that are in a bright color like pink. or yellow.
also, u cud try to put some bright leggings on under it [i dont know what it lux lyk so im sry if it lux really horrible] hehe

Well, you should take the halter strap off so everybody will think it’s a new dress. With it, I think it would look gorgeous if you would add a beautiful silver sach and tie a bow with it in the back. You should wear it with long silver necklaces and silver pumps!! You’ll be sure to stand out!
well if you are a sewer, then you could sew a trim around the bottom or top, and if not: then i would personally say that choose a bright colour that you like say red! now buy red ballet flats, and a red neclace (chunky) and a red bangle (braclet) but be sure that they are all the same red! {same stores usually help!}
decorate it with really bright colors like a hot pink ribbon around the waist or something. make sure what ever color you use is really bright!! or use something white because it is the direct opposite of black.
Sew a bit of ruffley net or lace to the bottom too make it look like a petticoat or something sticking out. A bright color, like hot pink. Add a brooch to it at the top off centered. Or wear a bright belt around it.
