I’m wearing a long dark dress with zip and scrunched detailing to a winter wedding. I’m deciding between plain black pumps (so I can wear them again in the future) or chunky gladiator heels.
The gladiator heels would suit the dress waaaaaaaay more, but if I bought them, I wouldn’t ever wear them again 
Should I just go with the black suede pumps? Would that be okay with a long dress?
My opinion is the gladiator shoes are not feminine enough for a maxi dress and especially for a wedding. I would go with the pumps. The attention should be on the dress not the chunky shoes.
I’d go with the suede heels and maybe look for sparkly shoe clips to jazz them up!! ; )
