getting hip dermals done tomorrow, can anyone answer these few questions?

-how high should i get them / how do i know where to position them?
(i don’t want my pants rubbing up against them too much, i know they will no matter what but i’d like to avoid it as much as possible)
-my piercer says he will remove them for me when i want them out. . . will this hurt alot? (not surgery)
-will they leave an ugly scar? (im going to get really tiny ones)

    - I suggest wearing a pair of pants that are usually about the location that you normally wear them. This will be a good indicator of where to place them so they will not rub. Your piercer should know where to position them to make them the most comfortable.
-When I got mine removed it did hurt. Not going to lie. But then again mine was irritated already when I decided to get it removed. When she finally decided to just scalpel it it really did not hurt.
    - They leave almost no scar. I can barely see mine at all. Still depends on how your body heals and how you care for it once removed. Still for me scars do not matter. They are in a place no one will really see them.

All I can say is I loved my dermal while I had it.
    Enjoy your new piercing!!!!

  2. you piercer will mark where they will go to his best judgment. they should fall maybe around 2 inches from where your hip bone shows. they are not that painful when being removed and leave small to minimal scarring. it doesnt matter how tiny you get them all dermals are the same size it is the JEWELRY you screw in the top that ranges in size and when you first get a dermal Do Not get anything smaller than 3mm. dermals have a low rejection rate but most often reject in places where your skin moves a lot so it is harder for the anchor to adhere. Hips are one of the places for higher rejection. i hope you chose a good piercer! ive had 13 dermals and my hips done and most my hips ones rejected and now RE done. goodluck!
