I did a tattoo of Tinkerbell in my hip in Thrusday and its going all dark and water is coming out the tattoo and in the mornings when i wake up the my t-shirt has little marks where the water comes of the colours in my tatto. . . I dont know if this is normal or not because its my first tattoo and i am not ery expirienced in this but ill leave you my the picutre of the tattoo and can please somebody tell me if its normal or not because i am worried.

It seems like it might be. First thing I’d do is call the tattoo artist and ask their advice. If they can’t help, or if their advice seems silly. . . see your doctor.
thats normal, its dark because there is blood under the skin and some of the ink comes out but thats normal to, just don’t pick at it when the tattoo is scabbing.
From the picture of your tat is doesnt look to me like its infected. But i have never seen a tat leak out onto a shirt. I think you should go back to the tattoo artist and seek his advice. They have seen it all, so that might be the safest bet if you are worried. Besides that, its very cute!
That’s just excess ink that your body pushes (for lack of better terms) out. Just make sure the tattoo area gets lots of air, by keeping it exposed to air for a few days. Don’t put too much on it, but you should have been keeping a thin layer of neosporin on it for the first 24-36 hours. Since it’s Sunday and you got it on Thursday, all I think you need to do is make sure it gets as much air as possible. The pics look normal. Don’t be nervous. GOOD LUCK!
No- but you are probably putting too much ointment on it- you don’t wanna see or really feel the ointment after you put it on- this can draw the ink out.

Yup dear you are perfectly normal, don’t worry about a thing. . . a couple of mine did the watery thing that you are describing. . . and i always have new tattoo outlines on my sheets lol

Not necessarily, the tattoo is sweating, or some call it plasma. It is part of the normal healing process. If it were puss or blood, than I would worry. Might want to go back to the artist and have them look at it, just to be sure.
from the pics everything looks normal just make sure you wash it good every day and put ointment on it
Are you putting too much ointment on it? Have you washed it with antibacterial soap a couple of times a day? It doesnt look like it is infected but it is hard to tell from the picture. I remember when my nephew got his first tattoo he was putting aquaphor on it too much and water seeped out of the tattoo with some of the color. He stopped putting so much on so many times a day and it stopped doing that. Only apply the lotion or ointment. . . whatever the artist recommended using a few times a day. I suggest if it continues to go back to the artist to take a look at it. Good luck!!
You should be putting some kind of lotion on it. Didn’t your tattoo artist tell you how to take care of it. Should have. It is normal for them to become really ugly,with scabbing and peeling. Don’t pick at or peel any skin off. Just leave it alone. Need to put some antibiotic ointment or cream over it a couple times a day so it doesn’t dry out. They do get pretty gross for a little while. I know mine did.
Should probably contact the person who gave it to you just to make sure. Your tattoo is very pretty.
Im so glad you posted this. . im going through the EXACT same thing! Thats why i came on here haha. .
i have 4 tattoos. . . and none of mine have acted like this before. mines on the front of my hip, a heart about a cubic inch. the best way to describe it right now is a heart shape world map. i have little scabs forming like islands all over it. no matter what i wear ends up with red on it. gooey red stuff comes off of it. . . its gross looking. Does yours hurt at all? mine sort of stings. none of mine ever hurt before? I think the hip is a hard place to get a tat becuase your clothes rub on it and theres no way around it. let me know how it goes. . im curious. im glad im not the only one!!!! Are you keeping yours covered? I cover mine with gauze so it doesnt rub on my pants, and i wash it once during the day, and put vitamin e stuff on it whenever it feels dry and tight-ish. i think i may be putting too much on it. . so maybe these guys are right. . ?
