Can a girl wear skinny jeans and a sweatshirt or shirt in pakistan?

I’m going there this summer and I’m 16 years old. Just wondering because I’m usually more comfortable in jeans than salwar kameez. Thank you!

It’s legal, but not morally acceptable to MOST of Pakistani society. Personally I would be OK with it.

Its not banned here. many girlz wear it openly in public places. Seriously mullas(i am a fundamentalist muslim myself) will not blow u up on this here. ;-P. But its not considered morally good. It also depend on the family you will stay with.

why are you coming to Pakistan to expose ? go to India, they like naked girls! Pakistan is land of pure (pak = pure +stan= place) we are valuing our culture, not like them indians. if you come to Pakistan please dress modestly and behave so too

  5. Yeah of course. Pakistan is not like what you’ve seen on TV or in the news. Most Pakistani girls do wear some type of jeans or shirts or whatever. You’ll go and see for yourself, so it’s okay to wear what you’re comfortable with as long as it is decent. You’ll need more than skinny jeans and a shirt if you’re going sightseeing because it’s extremely cold and it’s snowing heavily in some parts of the country. Enjoy your stay in Pakistan and don’t hesitate to do what suits you, Pakistan isn’t like what’s shown on TV. :)

  6. Depends where are you going. In urban cities its acceptable but not approved by large but if you go like that in a rural area the people will devour you.
