My friend wants me to do a photoshoot in the sea just wearing a chiffon shirt/dress from topshop (so quite expensive), was just wondering if there are any consequences to doing this, as I don’t want to ruin it??
Just wondered if it will get ruined after being in the sea water. Label says 100% Viscose.
It’s for a photoshoot and would be half in the seawater, the label says 100% viscose. Just want to know if it’ll ruin it.

Doesn’t sound like a good idea, it can ruin the delicate material and maybe even stain it.
If you were to go ahead with the photo shoot, try to keep yourself as dry as possible and you should be fine.

If it’s 100% Polyester, you could hand wash it in gentle soap or on the delicate cycle, to get rid of the salt stains and preventdeteriorationn.
It’s it’s made of Silk I would advise you not to attempt it.
Chances are, you might not be able to wear it again after the shoot.
