I hennaed my hair last night and washed it out this morning as recommended. Can I put cassia obovata on my hair tomorrow? Will it affect my hair color, dark auburn after using henna. Will it dilute my color?

Henna is derived from Mineral salts. They DO NOT mix well with other types of coloring agents. If you really really hate your haircolor now, the very LEAST you need to do is wash your hair several times with a clarifing shampoo. If you start to see smoke, or your hair is warm or hot to the touch after you apply the other color,,,rinse immediatly.
obv! henna and cassia work together. . it’s just gonna add shine but i don’t really think it’s necessary becuase henna already makes your hair shiney!
Cassia obavata is for moisture and shine and will not have too much of an affect on ur hair. If it releases color it is a light light goldish color but i dont think it will show up in ur hair. There is a great website about using henna to dye ur hair and cassia obavata. There is also a free book you can read to tell you all about henna. For the so called hairdresser. . real henna is from a plant and usually the henna u see in stores is not real henna or has mineral salts added to make different colors, but real henna is red and only red. website: www. hennaforhair. com (check out the book and search around on the forum)
Henna is NOT dervived from metallic salts. The so-called cosmetologist needs to recheck her training. If it is 100 percent pure henna it is derived from a plant called Lawsonia inermis. Crushed up plant leaves CANNOT hurt your hair. People have been using this for 1000s of years. Just make sure it is henna and not henna mixed with metallic salts.
Your henna color will continue to change as it oxidizes. The orange color will be replaced with a beautiful red–depending of course on what color your hair originally was. Cassia will not alter color, but I’d wait a bit before using it.
