If you have super pale skin and brown hair, consider going lighter or at least having some highlights painted or foiled in. Really dark shades can make you appear older if that’s what you like:)
Definitely almost black brown. Even all the slutty bleach blondes at my school are going dark brown now, and just about everyone else too. But I don’t see many people going purposefully chocolate brown – it only ever turns out like that after the black-brown dye has faded.
Also, the most popular unnatural hair color is blue. So of you want to be really trendy, try getting dark brown with a blue streak, or a few. I have a blue clip-on extension since my mon is religiously against all forms of unnatural hair dye.

I’m wondering the same thing, but I think dark brown looks nicer, depending on your skin.
