my hair was already blonde as i had done it a few weeks ago after my hairdresser stuffed it up, but i wanted it ash (white) blonde, so i bought all the neccessities and got going, everything was fine the it was the colour i wanted but as i was washing the bleach out me without thinking used my blonde plus conditioner (which is violet/puple? and it got abit pinkish in colour (my hair that is) i went over it with bleach again for another 15 mins or so, but it still looks abit funny, ive got the colour developing atm, but what if it comes out pink what can i do ?? or will it just wash out??
help please anyone.
my conditioners not a tint, its got violet pigmets to keep away the brassy yellow tones of blonde hair, and i am on a mission to get this right.
Thanks guys, i rebleached it again after i posted the question, and it came out fine, re did my toner, and my shampood it with my violet shampoo a few hours later, and guess what it came out perfect.
i just stressed abit about going to work with purple/pink hair. loll
Awesome, ash blonde! Well if it does turn out pink it might look awesome, if your hair’s short then you’ll get away with it, but if your hair’s long you could dip-dye some pink at the tips to look like it was on purpose! Maybe if you get some hair stripper if it really does look awful but it can strip the natural colour too, so ur better off going for black to hide the badness! If ur still not fully sure what to do, ring your hairdresser coz they can work wonders, honestly! Gd luck n mail me if it goes ok! x
I’m a little confused, but it sounds like your conditioner had a tint to it? if it wasn’t dye, then it might have turned your hair pink because it’s not washed out all the way. I wouldn’t keep bleaching your hair though, because it strips it of the nutrients it needs.
since ur hair is freshly bleached to almost ‘nothing’ colour, it grabed the pigments in conditioner, but it should let go easy too.
another dose of 15min of bleach shoud work, although it might bring back some of the yellow/brassy tone.
If it has gone yellow/brassy, then u should re-tone with ash to get it white/ash blonde. If you don’t have right toner, you could re-bleach till it is white, but obviously you are risking pushing ur hair’s integrity to the limit.
Before you go too crazy, always dry your hair completely before deciding what to do next. I’m sure you know, but blonde changed colour from wet to dry.
note: if you just want a bit of bleaching but concerned about the condition of the hair, try mix of bleach powder, shampoo and warm water.
This is called bleach-wash and it get “some” pigments out of the hair without using full strength “bleach”.
