I have blonde highlighted hair, with a couple hair extensions, and i wanted to dye in all dark brown today, would it be okay to dye my hair with the hair extensions? And what would be the best way to do it??

it depends if your extensions are real human hair? if they are. then its fine to dye them but if there fake hair im not so sure. .

Yes, you can color the extensions. I am a hairstylist and a certified Great Lengths hair specialist. Make sure when your coloring the extensions that they are REALLY saturated. They cannot be wrapped in foil or plastic bag on your head. They need oxygen so the color can penetrate the hair. The extensions will get some serious spots if they cannot breath, like a leopard. Its the weirdest thing i’ve ever seen.
But- I’m worried about your hair. You can’t go from bleach highlights to dark brown. Your hair that is light will turn a base tone. Which is green, gray, purple, or blueish. You need to get e filler before you put the dark on it. So you need to get like a level 7 or 8 with a copper/ gold base. Put that color on (which is going to look bright ugly-) Rinse, dry alittle, then put the dark brown on.
