I have mousey, auburn median brown hair and would like to see what it looks like darker more chocolated brown.
Does anyonw know anything about wash out hair dyes and what bad or good effects it has on your hair?

My daughter tried this stuff. . .
She has dark brown hair and she wanted to dye it a maroon color for her school’s homecoming last fall. Well, it was beyond maroon – she had Little Mermaid red hair! And as far as washing out in the box described “7 to 9 washes”. . . nope. It slowly faded to a dark coppery color, then faded into an orangey pink, then it looked pretty much a normal brunette brown again by Christmas time. It lasted two months. No damage to her hair, just lots of long lasting color!!
well the tips of my hair are blue.
i got the wash out hair dye and it’s lasted me about a month, it’s done nothing bad to my hair, it’s made it smoother for some reason.
i love it.
Semi permanent color is good for what you want to do. It makes your hair feel good. It does not damage your hair. It will make it shiney and will take away the mousey look. If you have medium brown hair choose a medium red brown, not darker, they sometimes turn out on the darker side anyway. Better to be safe the first time. and save the box top so you know the color you used, for the next time. good luck.
