Ok so my dyed brown hair is fading light brown with gross brassiness. Next Saturday im going to a party and want my hair a nice un-brassy medium brown so i bought Schwarzkopf semi-permanent hair dye.
My questions are:
- Will this get rid of the brassiness?
-How long does it last, if i have a shower everyday but dont wash my hair much?

Approx. 6 washes before it fades back.
This relies on the type of shampoo u might use.
SO, in the interim use sunlight soap, preferably the laundry type sunlight soap or the shop type brand that come under the name Kerosene laundry soap.
Not kidding. .
This soap also controls dandruff. (dermatitis)
Be aware that semi-perms are not always this. You can get roots! You can use a gloss that will last a few shampoos:

If you have chosen a cooler medium brown, it will help reduce the brassiness that you are seeing. Medium browns however generally carry orange or red-orange as an underlying pigment, it is much more likely to see the warmer tones in that level of depth then any other. So be sure to use cooler colors, or consider going a little deeper. A semi-permanent color takes between 12 to 24 washes to fade away. . .
