Whats more damaging to your hair Red or Blonde dye?

As red hair you have to dye more often because it fades alot
And blonde hair you dont have to dye as much because it doesnt fade and my roots arnt that noticeable

& Can you dye your hair red on top of blonde?

  2. red’s msot likley mroe damaging to your hair as as you sya you have to dye it more often and the more you dye hair the more damage it causes. So if your wooried about damaging your hair i’d suggest using blonde not red also red’s veyr hgih mantience and its a fade by next week it might be out of style and then your stuck with redy hair as its bad to dye your hair to often. Also you can dye your hair red on top of blonde but this will make the red become more of an orangigy lighter red colour so the colour wont come out wright so you might wanna bleach your hair before you die it red.     Blonde hair color is more damaging because of the bleach used which strips the hair of its natural oils and moisture, hence the reason why the hair gets so dry and brittle when bleached. Putting red hair dye over blonde wouldn’t be a good idea because once it fades it will become orange hued and no one wants to have orange hair. So try to dye the hair brown first then do the red so once it fades it won’t look like you have a clown wig on.
