I’ve tried a few looks in the past- the short buzz cut, spiked, gelled and loose, and currently I have it short on the sides and kinda growing the top out a little.
I don’t stay “in the loop” or whatever on whats hot, so I could use some advice from someone who does!
I’m not sure what would look best with my face structure, any tips?

I don’t want something incredibly high maintenance, I’m just tired of it falling to a plain patted down helmet hair look. lol
I actually kinda like the “current hair” pic, but that was a stroke of luck, and with just water. I cant get it to do that with gel. Would hairspray hold it like that if it’s wet?

why don’t you try spiking it? i think it will look better that way.
My last boyfriend used Aveda’s men’s grooming clay and it smelled awesome! His hair was straight and similar to yours. He would have them cut his hair choppy (textured) and they just rub that clay in it in the morning for a cool messy look. I loved his hair.
I don’t think you should go for a wet look though. Some dryer pomade like the Aveda clay would be best.

I have short hair and i spike it all of the time. . . the one thing that works best for me is if i get it wet, and then get a textured wax pomade and run my hands through my hair to spike it. . . you dont have to do your whole head either, you can do just the bangs and the very top, or you could do anything. another thing that works is if you get a texturizing spray, spray it and then run your hands through to stlye it. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, YOUE REGULAR HAIRSPRAY OR GEL TO STYLE WHEN YOUR HAIR IS WET. because if you do your hair will become loose and lose its style when it dries. . . GOOD LUCK!!!

I would go with Something like Brad Pitt in Mr. & Mrs. Smith or Oceans Eleven. But, you actually kind or remind me of Matt Damon which would totally work.
