Personally I think it’s a waste of money. I’ve tried all kinds of heat protector sprays and none have worked like they say they do.

I think that they do work to a certain extent. They don’t completely stop damage and split ends to your hair but can reduce it. But obviously if you’re straightening your hair at 230C (450F) everyday, then it’s not going to be as helpful.

yeah i find it helps it a lot, and when i didn’t use it i got a lot of split ends in my hair. it doesn’t make it invincible but it helps keep it healthy and doesn’t damage your hair as much and most of the sprays you can get for like £5 to £10 and i say its worth getting and is really good stuff if you use a straighter occasionally

waste of money. the heat will damage your hair about the same with or without a protectant.

Heat protectant DOES work, and if you are going to use ANY sort of heat on your hair PLEASE use it, I can’t stress this enough.

No, it is NOT going to protect your hair from ALL damage caused by using heat on your hair, but it does help, very much.
The only way to FULLY protect your hair to to simply just not use heat, and what female can really give up their blow dryers, curlers, and straightener?

Just please, if you use heat, just a heat protectant. They are NOT a waste of money.

Tresemme heat tamer thermal protection spray -it works GREAT and is very affordable!

chi 44 iron guard -its alittle bit more expensive but is WORTH the money, the only con is the smell and it smells kind of like a man’s cologne but I honestly like the scent. . .

Matrix Sleek Look Iron Smoother -it is a little more on the pricey side but is my personal favorite, it makes your hand almost sticky(?) but it doesn’t last AT ALL, the scent is alittle strange, but it reminds me of summer so I like it. This is my FAVORITE. but all three are GREAT. <3
