I need to know what chemicals are in heat protective hair products.
I am struggling so much trying to find websites that describe certain chemicals in the product that help the hair from not getting damaged.
I am trying to see if there are different chemicals in different hair products to see which chemical has the best results in the hair product!!!

FYI: HEAT protectant doesn’t protect hair 100%. Like sunscreen, you still get sunburned. Same with hair.
The hair industry is a billion dollar business, they sell products that cleans & condition the hair. They also sell products that damage and causes hair loss. They also DO NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss due to ‘abuse’. Hair straightening is a form of ‘abuse’.
The ONLY heat protectant the FDA approve – for the skin is Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. I’m not sure they approve any for hair. Go to the FDA website & search they might have one there.
It’s great that you’re concern about the chemicals in hair products, but there are chemicals also in the good healthy foods we eat.
