I’d suggest to use shampoo, just to free the scalp from any oils/ dirt that may collect in there. As for the “beachyness” after washing, leave it out and scrunch it with your hands with some mousse. It looks really hot!
Yes you can separate them in medium sized sections and them make braids.
Leave them like that for 4 hours and you’ll get a nice beachy look.
(you aloso can try sleeping with the braids and take them off the next morning)
I have beachy hair naturally!!!
I’m 12 and i surf allllll the time. My hair is a real light brown with natural highlights it naturally goes wavy. I shampoo, and a little bit of conditioner other then that theres nothing else i do to it! I love my hair. . . I’m never gonna dye it. . . naturals best i think. . .
There are two things that work for me
1. after your shower put your hair into braids and leave it for awhile (works best if you shower before bed) and when you wake take it out. Two pigtail braids are ideal.
AND
2. works best on semi-wet hair but dry as well. . . crack two eggs and scrunch your hair with the eggs (i promise it doesn’t smell) and let it dry for half an hour or so.
Good luck!
Here are my ideas:
• – You can braid it overnight in several large braids and then undo it in the morning
- You can scrunch it:
1) Take a shower and then apply a gel/ texturizing spray/ of mousse into damp hair
2) Flip you head upside down and evenly spread the product all over your hair by scrunching up your hair
3) Tie up your hair in severl messy buns located randomly all over your head
4) Let that sit for as long as possible (do you makeup?)
5) Blast your hair with the blowdryer on a hot setting (while still in the buns)
6) Take out the buns and apply a hairspray, while the hairspray is drying scrunch your hair again with your fingers
7) Apply more hairspray to finish off the look
