Dont worry, put in some dirty blonde highlights. It would look really good with blue eyes. You are right though, dont go too ligh because it would deffinately not look natural. Dont put in darker highlights if you live in a place with a lot of sun though. Try to go to the hairstylist first and ask her what she thinks would suit you the best.
