recently bought ck euphoria men EDT, and it wont last mor ethan h alf an hour, is there anything i can do to increase the staying power. i hear that the more oily the skin is the longer fragrances last. . . any ideas? thanks

Because cologne contains more alcohol in it than eau de parfume. . . . so when u splash it on your skin surface it’ll dry quickly
You will to try diff cologne on your skin.
Some saty longer than others, it all depends whcih one suits your skin.
There is no way to increase the staying power
Sorry to say this, but most “designer” fragrances are made very cheaply, although they charge for them like a wounded bull. One characteristic of cheap fragrance is its lack of staying power. Also, don’t forget, you become accustomed to a fragrance, so you can not longer smell it, although others can.
Next time, do a test spray before buying, then you can gauge staying power. And never buy anything with a celeb name.
The smelly ingredients in cologne and perfume are essential oils. They are classed as top notes, middle notes and base notes. top notes evaporate very quickly base notes last for days, the muskier (base notes) your aftershave or perfume the longer the staying power the crisper cleaner lighter smelling ones usually have much more top notes and therefore don’t last very long at all.
Maybe you don’t spray enough cologne, but that is always better than spraying TOO MUCH cologne. When you spray cologne you should always spray where your pulse is at, such as behind your wrist, behind your knees, or your neck. . . the heat will sustain the smell and linger on it longer. OH I JUST THOUGHT OF IT, humans can only smell a scent for 15-30 minutes until we get used to it, other people can smell your scent but not you !! I also heard another method to spray cologne or perfume on is to spray it in the air and walk into it, because it should be the perfect amount spray you should have. Although I don’t like to get perfume on my clothes and have heard that you shouldn’t, so I would rather stick with spraying on your where your pulse is at. I don’t think there is anything wrong with your cologne, but remember cologne does expire !! So if you bought it at an untrusted area maybe that could be it. . .
but those are just what I think so good luck with figuring everything out. . . OHH yeaaa and you can always buy a smaller bottle of cologne or a container so you can carry it around to apply cologne when it is in need haha
if you spray it on the clothes it will last longer,
on the bottle if it says eau de tolitte , thats the cheapest cos it dont have much oil in it so it woul last long,
eau de parfum- is the best and last the longest
CK perfumes/aftershaves are synthetic – they don’t contain oils unlike say Paco Rabanne which lasts for hours
sometimes certain fragrances are not right for the body. maybe your body is not right for it. try using any polo fragrance. trust me it lasts.
