Any tips for doing makeup tutorials on youtube?

Hi! I’m a 13 year old who’s biggest hobby is to experiment with fashion. I’ve been watching make up tutorials, and fashion hauls for a long time and I figured it’s time for me to start a Channel on YouTube making my own. I need tips to do a good job and get known. All help is appreciated and thanks!!

  1. If you’re doing one just because you figure that ‘you should’ and it’s ‘about time’ than maybe you shouldn’t. Youtube is so clogged up with beauty gurus who don’t really know what they’re talking about and use low quality cameras that it’s annoying. But if you aren’t one of those people and you truly love beauty, can make unique, high-quality videos, and will produce them regularly, than try it. Make sure to do tutorials and not just tags! As for getting well known. . . Video response to similar videos. Don’t make comments that are like ‘Check out my channel’ and that crap, but you can mention your new channel in a comment about something else.

If you watched other videos that did makeup tutorials, you’ll notice that they make sure the camera can see their face. When they explain the information, make sure it’s understandable. Explain what your using.
So basically some tips are to:
Make sure the camera can see you, and has good lighting.
When explaining information, make sure it’s understandable.
Show and explain what your using in your video. I hope it helped. And I also just created a youtube account so if you’d like to check it out here’s the link:http://www. youtube. com/user/Saijean100?feature=mhee
If you comment, or watch one of my videos,or subscribe I just want to say thank you so so so much for taking your time out to check out my channel. Thanks again and hope it helped!
