brown eye shadow eyeliner on top of your eye lid just a thin line just on top of your eyelash and also under them then smudged with a little sponge so its not such a course line then a little of that brown eye shadow on your cheeks
1) Make sure your face is washed, and apply a thin layer of facial moisturizer to your face and neck. This might sound trivial, but its a lot safer for your skin. I use cetaphil, really gentle, inexpensive and WORKS–the spf is also a plus.
2) firstly, for the “bronzed” element, go only for a shade or two deeper than your skin-tone. **this works for almost all skintones!! Do ONE verrrry very LIGHT layer over your entire face.
3) Suck your cheeks in. Make a fishy face in the mirror! =D see the line it makes from your ear to your mouth? Let your cheeks relax and apply the bronzer there DARKER, and blend it out so the line isn’t harsh across the middle of your cheek. This is called “contouring” if you need more of a visual on it, go to here: http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=7iDvD_ja2cA stacey story does this really well in this tutorial video =)
4) Make sure the bronzer blends into your neck so that it doesn’t looklike you’re wearing an orange mask! We’ve allll seen it. Don’t be a victim! Also be sure to blend it into your hairline so again, you dont get a harsh “mask-line”
5) This is the fun part ;D The blush! For the dewy look you’re best off with a cream (not a liquid or a mousse–mousse makeup is the DEVIL. ) based blush–these usually come in stick-form and go for fairly cheap. Find one that is a flattering peach-pink, depending on your skintone and be sure that it has some shimmer to it! This helps with the “dewy” element that you’re looking for
6) Eyes vary for a look like this. the “smokey eye” that everyone raves about is OVERRATED, you dont need it. Use a soft shimmer eyeshadow that is near the same color as your eyelid, if not only slightly darker! you can have fun with this part, it really depends on your individual face m’dear. A soft brown eyeliner on the bottom, and a deeper color along the top lid of your eye (liquid eyeliner gives the best effect, but you can get a good look with a sharp makeup-pencil too!) helps complete it!
7) Lips. i’ve learned that these are more important than we give them credit for!! Start out by moisturizing your lips with any lip balm, dont let anyone tell you to spend a million bucks on some high-grade lipbalm. ITS CHAPSTICK, good lord! I use burts bees chapstick, it works really well, its inexpensive and it makes your lips tingle and feel cool to go over the lipbalm, choose a sheer lip-stick color close to the pinkness of your lips, a little more orange, red, or pink in either direction is fine, this depends on your skintone too Top that off with some very light gloss applied to the middle of your bottom lip and blended out, and you’re FINISHED!
hey hey hey when youre taking a photo , make sure youre not SHINY… most pics are taken on flash and you DO NOT wana look like a dear caught in headlights >..<) , is when you have a very soft look , no oil no shine, just a clean palette face to work on …. how do you get that? welllllls … start off by putting on an oil free concealer, then an oil free foundation.. MAKE SURE IT MATCHES YOUR SKIN TONE! … then you can go ahead and use a powder based foundation … same color please as your foundation… the powder will absorb any moisture if youd like, theres a spray urban decay sells.. if im correct its calle "all nighter" spray if on you face and itll keep alll your makeup in place! hope this helpss
a good tip i learned is that makeup should be heavier for photographs so it can show up better.
