I’ve been using my husband’s eau de cologne (or is it aftershave. lolol x) lately because I’ve run out of perfume. Which led me to the thought we could perhaps share a fragrance and save some money at the same time. We’ll be in the duty free next week. What type would you suggest we buy?

i think CK1 is still a classic. I know it’s old, but it still smells great.
Kind of fresh and citrussy/bergomot . . . hard to explain. It’s light, so easy-on-the-nose.
It’s also easy-on-the-wallet.

Sadly, all of the ones I mentioned above have been released some time ago – so you probably can’t find them in duty free.

Creed’s “Virgin Island Water”. Here’s a description: • Top Notes: Essence of copra (the white inner portion of the coconut); coconut today (a liquid derived from the sweet sap of the palm tree); lime of the Antilles; white bergamot, and mandarin orange from Sicily.
• Middle Notes: Hibiscus, ginger, ylang-ylang, and Indian jasmine.
• Bottom Notes: Sugar cane and white rum of the Antilles, musk from Tonkin. I have this one & LOVE it. It is a vacation in a bottle.
