There isn’t really a way to get rid of dark circles, since they are hereditary, but you can use concealer to cover it up. That’s the only way.

there is really only one technique, you can use a stick or liquid base concealer to cover them up. also, if you dont want to buy a concealer even though they are cheap, there is a homemade recipe: take your skin color foundation and mix it with some non-scented lotion. :) hope i helped. .

My favorite eye cream is 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream ($19 for 1 oz, which lasts forever; most eye creams are only 0. 5 oz. They also have a 0. 25 oz tube for $9); it makes my dark circles lighter and brightens up my whole eye area. I don’t have bags under my eyes, but I can tell from the reviews and clinical study that it works for puffiness, too. If you want your dark circles completely gone, you’re also going to have to do your job, too; get enough sleep and drink lots of water. No eye cream is going to make your dark circles disappear in one day, especially if you’ve just pulled an all-night. It’s good that summer’s here; more sleep!

As for makeup, try an undereye concealer. I love Afterglow Cosmetics Organic Triple Eye Treatment. It’s a cream concealer that gives great coverage (I only need to use one layer :) ) and the white tea is said to help with puffiness, too. Since most of the ingredients are oils, it’ll give your undereye area a dewy look, which also reflects light to make it brighter and your dark circles less noticeable. It’s $29 for a 0. 17 oz pot, and you’ll need a concealer brush (try EcoTools), wedge sponge (try CVS’s Essence of Beauty) to apply it, or you can just use your fingers. But, make sure you never tug on your undereye area, because that can lead to premature wrinkles/fine lines; just pat gently.

Also, I love using an eye gel mask once or twice a week, which also helps with tired looking eyes. I have one from the Body Shop, which was $9, and is reusable. You can cool or warm it; I like to warm it and keep it on for at least an hour.

Homemade treatments include frozen spoons, teabags, ice cubes, and cucumber slices, if you’re interested. They just take much longer and are rather inconvenient sometimes.

As for the other answers, foundation doesn’t always cover dark circles well, and the lotion will only make it even more sheer. Dark circles and bags aren’t always hereditary either; they’re usually symptoms of stress.

It’s revolutionary, it has unprecedented results and best of all, it’s free!

    It’s called “sleep”.

You may think you get the sleep you need, but your appalling grasp of the English language suggests that you’re just a child. Believe me, you need more sleep.

  5. Brandon, everyone will give you a different answer based upon their experiences. This is what I’ve been using for the past 3 yrs; Extreme Eye Rescue by Isabella Pelle. It’s made specifically for the eye area. Sleep is absolutely a large part of reducing your d. c. Too little or too much sleep gives you dark circles. So get your normal sleep. Also make it a habit of drinking 3 glasses of water to keep skin hydrated. Hope this helps you.
