My friend always makes comments about me wearing makeup and about people who wear it. Like today another friend was like you should wear mascara and her reply was ew no. But anwyay I don’t see why she makes a big deal about it. I’m 14, I have clear skin so I don’t use foundation,I just use mascara and chapstick and lipgloss. And I own eyeshadow but it is for special occasions that are rare like christmas and it is a neutral color. And its not like I use mascara everyday,its only when I feel like it as my eyelashes are naturally long and curly but I just like to apply it to enhance them but most lf the time I just wear clear mascara unless its picture day or Christmas. I mean is it really so bad? she always make remarks about it. It’s not like i go around telling her she should wear makeup to hide those dark circles,or wear foundation for her acne or that she should use mascara for her short lashes. I neversay anything rude to her. so why does she do it to me?

I’m pretty sure she’s jealous. I don’t think you wear too much makeup. Actually, you wear the perfect amount(: She might not be allowed to wear makeup, so she makes rude comments about you wearing makeup. Or she’s just a bitch, heehee. Just ignore her. You wear what you wanna wear, and nobody can tell you otherwise.

no it isnt at all. just tell her that her making remarks isnt cool and if wearing makeup is really such a problem for her then she can’t except you as who you are which means she cant be that good friend.
My friends don’t do that to me even though i’m 14 and i dont wear makeup. Maybe they want to hang out with friends who are pretty. I mean it is high school.
she’s probably jealous of your clear skin or how long your eye lashes are. or maybe she’s just not comfortable wearing make up and she’s taking it out on you. either way, you don’t need a friend that puts you down over silly things. being 14 and wearing make up isn’t a bad thing, especially since it doesn’t sound like you cake it on your face.
don’t let someone else’s comments influence your appearance, and don’t drop to their level.
