how good is this mascara?
does it flake off?
can it stand heat or is it going to run
apparently loreal volumizing mascara is just as good
do you believe this is true?
if so, how good is this mascaras staying power
my eyes tend to water so i don’t want something that will run, but i don’t necessarily want waterproof mascara because apparently they arent as good.
YSL volume effect faux cils?

I buy mostly high-end makeup, but mascara is one thing I go to the drugstore for. It’s probably not any better than LashBlast or Voluminous (if that’s your thing). Personally, I hate Voluminous and preferred LashBlast, but whatever you want. I say skip the YSL. You’re supposed to replace mascara every three months anyway, so expensive mascara is just not worth it. You can try new things if you stick to drugstore mascara.
I only go to Avon for that because basically all is water proof and doesn’t flake! even eyeliner. . .
it is any kind of mascara you point out there because only it sells two options non waterproof or waterproof , i don’t see non in walmart or cvs but the last time i tried them i itch or got red eye . with Avon, none cons on mascara, i promise! they even do glimmestrick (glimmerling in eyeliner) or waterproof eyeliner there.
They are planning on selling mascara growth it meant it is a serum that will promote the growth on eyelash
If you wanna naturally mascara that doesnt break off with no chemical like organic then I suggest you go vitaminlife or amazon
I own this mascara and love it (try before you answer the question. ) However, I agree with the first answer that it is pricey and that cheaper mascaras can compare (if it’s the right one). . but I must say that YSL Faux Cils is one of my favorite.
1. YSL Faux Cils is great. The color is a dark and rich black and it gives your lashes tons of drama (in a good way!) It lengthens and thickens my lashes while giving the perfect volume. Oh, and it holds a curl too. I have the wimpiest, shortest, thinnest lashes ever -but when I wear this, people seriously think I have fake lashes. The only problem I’ve noticed is that it can be clumpy -but that’s usually not a problem for me because I use my Sonia Kashuk metal lash comb -works great and it’s super cheap. I just run it through my lashes after applying the mascara and everything is perfect.
2. No, it does not flake off.
3. I don’t think I’ve ever worn makeup while excercising but I’ve worn this in really hot weather with no problems.
4. I’ve had a bunch of L’Oreal mascaras and also have the Voluminous one. Voluminous is alright -darkens the lashes and thickens them but it doesn’t give me the length or volume that YSL Faux Cils gives me -not even close. The other L’Oreal mascaras I’ve tried have never been “rave worthy. ” Maybelline is better in my opinion.
5. YSL Faux Cils stays on all day for me. It’s my favorite “high end” mascara and beats out Dior Show x 100000.
6. My eyes water as well -due to allergies. I usually have allergies in the morning/early noon but I’ve never had a problem with my mascara running off. I don’t like waterproof mascara in general (except L’Oreal Voluminous in the “waterproof” verison seems to be better than the “original. “)
Ok, that’s all your questions. Now I have to say that before you go and spend nearly $30 on YSL Faux Cils, I’d like to recommend something that I actually prefer -and yes it’s from a drugstore. I really, really like Prestige My Biggest Lashes. I use to wear YSL Faux Cils daily but I gave Prestige a try and loved it. I get overall the same results except for Prestige My Biggest Lashes is nowhere near being clumpy like YSL Faux Cils (but clumpy doesn’t bother me since I just use a lash comb. ) Anyways, I do think that the color of YSL Faux Cils is richer but overall, Prestige My Biggest Lashes is cheaper and gives the same overall result (minus clumping. ) It’s the pink tube with black writing -and it’s around $7 or $8.

If you don’t want to read it, I use:
1. Shu Uemura The Makeup mascara Base (primer)
2. Prestige “My Biggest Lashes” mascara
3. N. Y. C. lash curler (it works WAY better for me than the shu uemura curler)
4. Sonia Kashuk lash comb
