- Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation mixed with Face Atelier Minus (a white foundation), cuz I’m pale like death and the Double Wear is too dark. The woes of an NW05. . . Using fingers.
- No powder. Benefit Posie Tint on lips and cheeks, buffed in with a kabuki brush.
- Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin on lids, eyeshadow and primer in one, stops my mascara from smudging due to slightly greasy eye lids, apply with fingers.
(- If not in too much of a hurry, Estee Lauder Double Wear eyeliner in Coffee on upper lid, slightly smudged)
- Curl lashes w random curler
- Tightline with Clinique Cream Liner, using random flat brush bought in artist supply shop.
- A coat of Lancome Hypnose Drama, getting rid of clumps with cleaned brush from old mascara tube (the wand from the DiorShow, if interesting?)
- Clear mascara on unruly brows.
The day is now ready to face me! And I am ready to face it.
Just out of interest, if I’m in a real hurry, I’ll skip everything except foundation:)
Primer: smashbox
foundation: ummm I know its a revlon one
Powder: macc
Mascara: big llashes
Bronzer: narsss !
Eyeshadows: hmm idk
Eyeliner: stilass! Best eeyeliner ever!
Eyebrow shader by MAC on my eyebrows.
Eyeshadow on my eyelids only, I have all kinds of eyeshadows and don’t have a favourite brand. I mostly wear brown shades. I do think though Maybeline do some good ones and have a wider range than a lot of other brands. I just used pressed powder eyeshadows cause I find the lose ones are more messier to use and the cream ones don’t seem to last as long on me.
Pencil eyeliner in brown or black on my lower lashline only. Again I don’t have a favourite brand for them really, although I think prestige do quite a varied range of colours in pencil eyeliner and do some nice brown ones. I only ever use pencil eyeliners cause the liquid ones and gel ones look too harsh I think on me and you have to have a very steady hand to get it right. I think pencil ones look softer.
Mascara on my eyelashes. I love Maxfactor ones and don’t go for mascara’s with really thick brushes cause I find they tend to get too much on the eyelashes and clump. I prefer the more delicate kind.
Tinted moisturiser by no. 7 which is the only type of foundation I’d use now cause all others I find look bad on me. I find it gives better and more even coverage than any other brand or type of foundation that I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot. It’s strange as well cause it’s only a tinted moisturiser yet it has better coverage than a lot of full on foundations. I don’t like the colour though cause the lightest one isn’t light enough for me but I get around that by making sure I don’t use too much and I blend it really well particularly around the jaw.
Then I apply some powder on my face which I also do to make my make up match my skin tone much better. I always use the palest shade around cause I’m really pale and don’t like the orange face, white body look at all! I prefer loose powders but unfortunately as of yet haven’t found one pale enough for my skin so at the moment I’m stuck using a pressed one! I prefer loose ones cause I think they give a softer look for some reason.
Then I finish with either just normal lip balm or tinted lip balm. I’m really pale so finding lip colours to suit me is hard and so tinted lip balms give some colour but are more subtle so they don’t look harsh on my skin tone. I have one which is a natural lip reddish pinkish colour and some lighter pink ones.
I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse, then Covergirl powder over that. Then I use Maybelline brown eyeshadow, and then red lips.
I use Miracle Tent Lancome foundation all over the face and then some on my neck and then apply concealer were needed. Then I use pressed powder, from Tesco ‘All about the face’ – its cheap but i think its the best one! Then I use the Body Shops blusher, and Lancome Hypnoses mascara and depending what mood Im in, the body shop eye liner!
1 tinted moisturizer (elf)
2 pressed powder (stay matte Rimmel)
3 concealer under eyes ( elf 1$)
4 blush and bronzer (elf blush and bronzer comes together)
5 mascara ( lashblast or maybelline falsies)
6 eyeliner (I use a black shadow stays on longer and doesn’t smudge or fade if you wet the brush and then put the black eyeshadow on then apply then set it same shadow)
