I think as it’s new it will close up pretty quickly. I’m not sure if you could re-pierce so close to the old hole though.

It shouldn’t close up unless you took the studs(sleepers) out before the 6 – 8 weeks are over. They might just need a push.

You can’t repierce your ear too many times, because a piercing creates scar tissue within the earlobe, which can’t be touched again. I’d wait until the hole is completely healed up and not visible or sore (so maybe 2 weeks or more), then go and ask the beautician or whoever is doing the piercing if your ear is ready to be pierced again.

i dont know if they ever do, mines still pierced and know it will always be had mine done when i was young like 15 years ago! still can go without earrings for 6-8 months then put a pair in. . . .

  6. It’ll close up pretty quick, within a day or two I’d have thought, but bear in mind that you then have to keep well away from the scar tissue with the next piercing, might be worth checking with the place you got it done before you take the existing one out!

  7. I have four piercings on each lobe and they are definatly not even on each side. You don’t really notice it. If that’s your only problem. I wouldn’t worry about it.

It would take a few minutes.
    Maybe seconds.

my friend had her cartilage & took out the starter earring & it just closed in seconds.

If you want it repierced, wait a few weeks.
