I am getting my nose pierced tomorrow, and I am a little scared about the pain. I have had my ears pierced twice up the top, one higher than the other. It was done with a gun and I took the pain quite easily. What is the pain and how quick is it? Just general information please!

If it’s done right you don’t even feel it.
Doesn’t really hurt at all especially since you have been peirced before. I would say at most like a little pinch. And its very quick, nothing to worry about. You will be fine!

Not much really.
Just take deep breaths, and tell them to do it randomly, so you never know when.
Also, make sure they use a needle and not a gun.
Get a hoop ring because it is a lot easier to take care of!
I got mine done using the gun and it wasnt that bad just felt it a second when it clicks together. It wasnt thd actual getting it pierced i had problems with it went septic a week later despite using strict hygene care and i took it out.
Make sure they use a needle (SOME piercers use a gun for nose piercings, can you imagine?! Guns aren’t cleaned properly, and can have other people’s blood and tissue in them, therefore, you could be getting a nice side of Hepatitis with your new piercing. . . Guns also cause far more trauma to site of the piercing than is needed, as it forces a blunt object through, as opposed to a needle making a nice hole that the jewellery can go through. )
I had mine done at fourteen, I found it to be LESS painful than when I had my ears pierced with a gun.
Your eyes will water, but that’s because of the connection between your eyes and nose, and your tear duct.
It was really quick, he rubbed my nose with the antiseptic wipe, and did it straight away, I was still bracing myself for the pain, and there was none! I had to ask if he’d finished! XD
Don’t worry,. you have a “sweet spot” between the cartilage and the bottom of your nose, and if the piercer is professional they will find it and yours eyes will water. slight pain gone in a second or two.
