Use a face wash with peroxide, use an astringent after. For extra drying use a little baking powder with a drop of water, the paste will dry up zits fast.
I had mild acne and now after 1 week of my new face washing routine my skin is 80% better.
I wash my face twice a day with Australian body care tea tree face/body wash, (tea tree is anti bacterial and Bactria is what creates spots along with excess oil)
I then spread aloe vera gel over my face ( can be bought for health food shops) make sure it has no alcohol etc in it, and its 99. 9% or 100% aloe vera gel, also make sure its clear and not a green coloured gel.
Because this makes your face feel a bit tight I Then ( after letting aloe vera soak in for a minute) use clean and clear oil free moisturiser just one pump will be fine.
Hope this works for you, I used to have to take acne antibiotics but my fave cleared up with this routine and I no longer have to take my antibiotics!
1 more thing, do not touch your spots with your hands, your hands are a lot more dirty than you think, and it will make them worse

You should keep your face clean during the day also. Get some face wipes
and take a couple out and put in a small plastic packet for your pocket. Then
when your face gets greasy with dirt wipe it clean.
try one with witch hazel & t tree oil in it.
To dry out spots, just add a small dollop (love that word) of toothpaste on each spot, wait 30 minutes, then wash your face with soap and water
There’s one called Pernox that will really dry out spots. I used it in my super oily teen days. Works like a champ.
