Depends on the job. Most of the time, as long as you keep it covered at all times you’re fine. For higher up jobs for example certain government jobs they don’t want you to have any. But for normal office-type jobs you’re fine if you cover it up.
I doubt they would ask you if you had any, but, if they have a strict policy about visible tattoos, and you wear a short-sleeve shirt one day, they could indeed fire you for that, and that alone. If you already have the tattoo, it would be best to ask about their policy and discuss your tattoo. If you don’t have it yet, place it somewhere that it won’t be visible with any type of clothing.
i am dealing with this sometimes too, I have naked Betty Boop on my forearm. . . ooops lol but anyway they have this make up, yes make up that one of my dudes told me about, derma blend, youve probably heard of it, they have it in Macys, Ulta, and full online store. It comes with setting powder so you can even go in water with it, its kinda extreme and makes me wonder, do I really want to work for you if I cant be myself? It depends on the tattoo and the job. If ur working constrution or gas station or fast food prob not if your working in bussiness it will depending on the tat. I have a very classy tat of my sons name below my wrist and my daughters on the other and its never affected my jobs. Infact I’ve gotton compliments from my interviewers and I worked good jobs. Now my sister and my bother have tats on there forarms and it does affect them. My bother has a rip cross and althought its a sweet idea its gaudy and huge and my sister has a bear and its also huge and gaudy and they can’t get a job. I doubt an interviewer will ask to see your arms but they may ask if u have tattos depending on ur field and u don’t wanna have to lie. . good luck
They wont ask to see it, especially if they don’t know you have one. But at work you should always have it covered up. Just to make sure.
It depends on the job role, if it is a customer facing job they may ask on an application form if you have any visable tattoos or piercings. I would probally reccomend a long-sleeved shirt for interview though.
