I really, really would like to get a nose piercing BUT my Mum said there too popular. I dont know, if i should look they same as everyone else or get a total different piercing that everyones going “wow” at.
Please help, with ideas or reasons why i should(nt) get one!

but you gotta be preapred for pain, cause they hurt to get done if you get it done with a needle, which is the best and cleanest way!
but it is definatly worth it, i have had mine done for awhile now, and it just adds so much fun to everyday outfits
even when u feel gross and cant be bothered getting dressed up or doing ur makeup you have a bit of glitz

I think they’re stupid. First of all, when you’re older you’ll regret it. Would you like to see a 80 year old lady with a nose piercing? She’ll be wrinkled and covered with age spots. Second of all, it’s a statement of masculine. Guys would like to go out with someone who doesn’t look stronger than them.
i think nose rings are disgusting, sorry but hats my opinion they look white trash.
it’s lame to do something because you want people to think you’re “cool”. if this is why u’re doing this don’t. you’re going to “dig” a hole in your face so if you want to do it do it because you want t, do whatever pleases you. tc
@Faith, just so you know, piercings aren’t permanent like tattoos are. I highly doubt anyone is going to have a nose piercing for 50+ years.
@the person asking the question, if you like them get it. Don’t get one or not get one because you’re afraid of people’s reactions. Whether anyone else thinks they’re too popular or they’ll go “wow,” get it if it’s what you want. Your opinion about any body mod you get is more important than anyone else’s.
First and foremost hair is popular do you see people cutting all their hair off because Brittany and Solange did it?
Do you look like everyone else that has a nose piercing?
If not then I say go for it because we all are in different in that retrospect, but the same because we are all HUMAN BEINGS that comes in different shapes and sizes and races.
So get your nose piercing yours will be unique. . .

Now a days pretty much everything is “too popular” because although people try to be individuals, there is already someone with that same idea.
I love my nose ring. Sure there are other girls at school and around the world with them. But I got it because I thought I would look cute with one not because Jane Doe had one.
It isn’t painful. The best way I can describe it is, it feels like popping a zit on your nose. It’s a little bit sore and your eyes do water. But other wise then that it’s fine.
