how old do u have to be to get a tongue piercing in texas?

my mom said for my 14 birthday could get something pierced, but she claims the only thing u can get pierced under the age of 18 is ur nose. is she lying?

    So long as you have parental consent you can get ear, nose, tongue, eybrow, lip or belly button peirced.
