I have cleaned it twice a day, everyday for the past week since i have got the piercing.
I have been cleaning it with the ear piercing stuff that the piercing place gave to me, and when i asked them about it, they said it was fine.
I have also done a sea salt wash once a day too.
Anybody have any idea why my piercing hurts so much and looks inflamed?

It’s obviously infected. Go to a doctor before it gets worse.
Your body is rejecting it take it out because it will only get worse. . . seriously take it out
It’s normal for it to be red and slightly inflamed after the first week. You’ve been cleaning it twice a day and that’s irritating to your belly button. From my personal experience with my own belly button piercing (I’ve had it for almost 2 years now) it looks the worst after the first week. It’s also normal for it to be crusty and have a slight discharge. Unless it gets really bad, it’s probably not infected. Just keep doing what you’re doing and it should improve. If it doesn’t get better and gets worse you should ask the place that pierced it if it’s infected, but from my own experience, I think what you’re experiencing is completely normal. Good luck!
Try savalone in the blue bottle, were I got mine done they told me not to use that but the stuff they gave me infected mine it really works, don’t take it out because it hurts more the second time you get it done, mine was all white around the top & was pussing then it was ok after a week or so, don’t clean it too much with this because I have sensitive skin & it started making my skin dry x
its fine!! just continue cleaning it, with boiled water[still hot] and a pinch of salt. . my piercings do this too, and they were perfectly fine. just dont take the jewelry, and keep it clean. take anti inflammatories. . ? and honestly do not take it out, cos when it heals up and you want it done again, it will hurt even more cus it will be piercing scar tissue.
ALSO! only when the discharge goes a black colour, then it is infected. all the discharge means its healing!
