Thinking about gettng a piercing : lip ring with the ball?

when it comes to the lip ring with the ball will i always have to use pliers to take it off or are there some where the ball can screw off?

If i was you i would go for th ball to start with because the ring sometimes dosn’t fit your lip. go for the stud then ring. Hope i helped

Unless you get used to it, you will usually have to use piercing pliers. That’s for captive hoops like this:

But if you want something you can just screw off with it still being a hoop, you could always go with a circular barbell:
