If it is hurting there is a chance it is infected. Use antisept mouthwash often and should stop hurting in a day or two. Still takes some getting used to.
That’s normal . I’ve had my tounge pierced and it will be swollen and painful for about 2-3 days . Don’t try to eat big things , eat easy things . And chew lots of ice ! That helps so much . Wash your mouth with antiseptic mouth wash about 3 times a day , not too much cause it will irratate it ! Hope I helped
