Nose I would say, because the mark would be less noticeable as opposed to a monroe.
However, I don’t see why you would get a piercing you want to take out.
And the back of the jewelry for a monroe is flat, so it should be fine.
Id say monroe but yuo have to keep the piercing small. . . and no you body adapts
I’ve got both. And have pierced my nose 3 times, and my monroe once, but I had my lip close up so that’s similar enough.
My nose piercing never left a scar, but it’s never goten infected either.
My lip piercing left a minor scar, but it’s not noticeable unless you’re up close and looking for it. Still, easily covered with minimal make-up.
And, there isn’t a “safest” thing. You won’t die or go into shock from either. Neither hurt much, but your nose does get sore for awhile.
Your gums won’t hurt as long as you have a stud that has a flat back. That’s what they’ll use when they pierce it.
Another option if you like smaller studs are the L-bend shaped nose rings. Those are the perfect size as long as your piercing’s swelling has reduced fully.

When you get an area pierced by your mouth such as snakebites or a monroe it will more than likely scar.
I had snakebites and now I have scars,but they are so small that you can’t even notice. Unless you really examine somebody’s face.
The nose is also the safest because it won’t be as likely to get an affection because the mouth has so much bacteria.
And even if it gets pierced high up it won’t hurt your gums.
And the nose doesn’t leave a scar.

the monroe leaves a mark after it as been taken off.
I’d deff. say nose, i’ve had both and nose didn’t scar almost at all.
And not exactally hurt your gums, but mine wore away my gums, its really noticable, one tooth my gums way up high and the rest its lower. I really don’t recommend monroe.
