How long after you get your tattoo can you use dermablend to cover it up?

I plan on getting a tattoo on my wrist and i need to hide it from my parents. im going to buy dermablend and cover it up but how long until i can do that. No answer like, just tell them or wait till your 18.

    It will be several weeks before you’re healed enough to use something like Dermablend. Good luck!
