A tattoo would never fade away completely. That’s why they’re called permanent. The color fades, yes, but you can still always see it. With the way stuff is advancing though, I bet in a while they come up with ink that fades, but that’s kind of stupid. Why go through that much pain if it isn’t permanent?

I don’t know what a finger nail tattoo is.

And why would you get a tattoo of your finger print over your finger print? I don’t see the point. . .

  2. Well, my friend is a professional, and she says that even light needle-done tatoos will not fade. However, airbrush is a different story. They come off with a washcloth and some rubbing alcohol.
To answer the fingerprint question, my friend says that it depends. Some will fade and some won’t. It really depends on many factors, such as. .
*If you bite your nails or cuticles
*How often you wash youur hands and use hand lotion
*What you do with your hands (if you are an artist who works with clay then your tatoo is more susceptible than if you work in a cubicle)
    Hope this helps!

Once a tattoo has healed into the dermis, it’s there. It doesn’t matter if the artist has a light or heavy hand. You either have a light hand or you do not have a light hand. I do, and I tune my machines accordingly. As for the fingerprint tattoo, it’s gonna fade a bit, because of the nature of the skin there. It usually isn’t a good idea. You have to go really deep to get it to stay in the dermis there. The inside of your whole hand is like that. I have a tattoo on my palm. It took eight sittings to get it to stick well.
