My sister has dark blonde hair naturally and I dye in lighter for her without ruining her hair so I do have some idea of what I’m doing, however my friend is asian and therefor has thick black hair. She wants me to dye some bits purple for her, but in order for the colour to show, I have to bleach it first.
Can anyone please give me some tips on how to bleach naturally black hair, because I really don’t want to mess it up for my friend, and perhaps suggest any brand that they recommend?
What is the process and cost of going from dyed black hair with brown on top to light brown?

My natural hair is black and a year ago my hair was dyed to a ash brown and then after 6 months I dyed it back to black. I tried dying my hair to a golden brown but it only made my roots brown. I was just wondering how much would it cost and what is the process just to get my whole hair dyed to a light brown?

At the moment my hair is medium/light brown, but i want to dye it back to my natural colour. My natural colour is a very dark brow. My hair is damaged and porous, so i don’t want to have to dye it ever again after this.
So my question is: if dye my hair black and will it fade to dark brown, or if i dye my hair dark brown will it stay that colour or fade? Because I don’t want to dye my hair back to its natural colour, then it fade lighter, and my natural roots show.
What would happen if I used haircolor to lighten naturally black hair on dyed black hair?

It is dyed soft black at least a month or more ago. I bought some clip on extentions that are dark brown but they look WAAAY different when put together. I would like to get my hair to match the extentions instead of dying them. What would happen if I used one of those hairculors that say they lighten NATURALLY black hair on my dyed black hair?
If you have a black and white patterned shirt do you wash it with black clothes or white?
