I got my septum pierced the other day, but I thinks it’s way to shiny and when the sun’s reflecting off of it, it looks like I have snot hanging out of my nose. I would order a different ring or retainer to put in it, but I’m going on holiday tomorrow. So my question is, is there a way to dull the shine on my piercing quickly?

How do i know if my navel piercing is completely healed?

I had my navel piercing done in the middle of December in 2011. The guy that did it said the soonest it could be healed is a little after valentines day. I was just wondering how do i check if it is completely healed. . . i want to check it at home without buying anything so if you guys have any kind of information for me, that would be great. Thanks!

I just got my cartilage pierced but I’m going on vacation in 10 weeks where I will be swimming in the ocean. Will this be okay for my piercing? I would also clean it after with the proper solution.

I’ve had it in for about 4 weeks nearly and right by the hole of the piercing this red bulge has came up, my mum thinks its full of pus. But I’m not so sure and also I can’t take it out yet, cause the hole will close.

I got two lip piercings done two weeks ago (snakebites), and one of them has gotten a bit swollen again. I’m guessing it’s merely irritated as my other piercing is fine, plus it happened while I was eating and the bar got caught on my teeth + irritated while sleeping, anyway, it was swollen and bled a little when I woke up.
How would you tell the difference between an irritation and an infection?
My nipple piercing is tender, but not red. ?
