Just out of curiosity: Do you do skin allergy tests before dyeing your hair?
The instructions always say that you must do an allergy test 48 hours before every time you dye your hair, even if you’ve used that same brand before. I’ve never done an allergy test and I’ve never had a reaction. My head sometimes itches but I think that’s normal.
I’m just interested to know what other people do. Do you do a test every time, never, or just when using a new brand?
What is the best hair colour for my skin tone?
My skin tone is kind of like a medium colour with pink-ish undertones. Once when I was experimenting with my hair I accidentally went black but I kind of liked it. Now that it’s washed out, my colour looks a bit blehh. I want to dye it back to black but I’m not sure if I should now that I know that skin tones matter in choosing a hair colour. What should I do? Go black or go back to brown?
